Let me start by saying that this bathing suit is absolutely adorable & sexy. I love the fit and I feel it gives a very slimming look. I originally ordered the small and the small was more of an extra small. I weigh 130 pounds and I am 5‘4“ The small was just not long enough for me. I returned the small for the medium and the medium fits well, but I wish I would’ve picked a large. Just to give you an idea of my normal clothing depending on the top I wear a small to medium. Medium if it’s a shirt without stretch and small if it has some stretch. For pants and shorts I can wear a juniors size 5 or a small in regular denim shorts. So my opinion is if in doubt… size up.
